The leaves add to the show by turning shades of yellow & orange.It offers a wide variety of planting & growing options too! It is considered to be is dwarf tree or hedge. You can prune it into a tree with a single trunk, or allow it to branch out & form a hedge. This crab apple will tolerate any soil conditions except sand. They also grow well in containers & are a popular choice for bonsai.
