OTHER: Cutting Celery is an heirloom that is grown for the leaves rather than the stalks. (You can eat stalks, but they are thinner & are not as good as "stalk" varieties.) The leaves have the same taste as celery stalks, but the flavor is about 4 times stronger. Because of the strong flavor, the leaves are typically not just eaten alone raw, but this strength makes them wonderful as an herb fresh or dried to flavor soups, stews, etc. The plants can take up less space than regular celery, & can be grown in containers. Cutting Leaf Celery is a ‘cut & come again’ plant with fragrant leaves that can be harvested continuously throughout the season.
We also have several types of 'stalk' Celery like Tall Utah & Tendercrisp, & a couple of fun varieties like Redventure (yep, it's red!) & Golden Self-Blanching.
