OTHER: The Ground Plum is a beautiful ground cover that is native to The US & Canada. Pink, purple, & white pea like flowers bloom in 3/4" long in clusters on stalks above the foliage. The foliage is ferny & resembles that of a vetch. They get their common name Ground Plum from the 1 1/2” ornamental fruit that ripens to purple like a plum. The fruit starts out green, & turns lovely blushing shades of pink & apricot before maturing in purple. The Ground Plum is a legume, and is an extremely lovely way improve the nitrogen levels in your soil! They can grow in sandy soil. Ground Plums are a host plant for the Afranius Duskywing Butterfly.
